Reminder..

Just wanted to post a little reminder to all my fellow bloggers.. This past weekend while my step-mom was at church her car was broken into and her purse was stolen. Her car window was broken and they took her entire purse and another bag of stuff. Although no one was injured and all the purchases made using her card will be refunded, it's more of an inconvenience trying to get copies of everything again and that feeling of your privacy being violated. I don't want this to happen to anyone else so I just wanted to remind everyone not to leave anything of value in their car that is in plain sight to anyone! Hope every had a wonderful weekend and a fabulous Monday!

Weekend

This weekend I am going home to see my family for a few days before spring break and I am SO excited because I haven't been home in about 7 weeks which is a really long time for me! I have no set plans except to relax and enjoy being around my sisters and my parents and all the animals we have running around :)

I hope everyone else has a relaxing weekend spent with people they love!

What I'm Loving Wednesday

What I am Loving this Wednesday (a little late but not forgotten!):

- my best friend Adri has been staying with me all week. I love having her here :)

- spring break starts in approximately nine days and I can't wait!

- the warmer weather that has suddenly appeared, please don't leave

- tomorrow is Thursday which means Grey's Anatomy is new

- I get to go home this weekend to see my family!

Style Icon: Lauren Conrad

I have loved Lauren Conrad since Laguna Beach premiered on MTV back in 2004. She has always seemed like the most "real" person on reality TV and she is easy to relate to. Her style has definitely evolved since those Laguna Beach days to more sophisticated chic. I actually had the opportunity to attend one of her book signings last year and she looks just as gorgeous in person as she does on television. You can read about that here. What I've Been Doing

I took a break from blogging because I wasn't feeling inspired by anything lately and it feels nice to get back to my blog :) This past week was busy with school and work and I've also been sick all week/weekend so I've been resting a lot and trying to do anything possible to make myself feel better! The weather has finally warmed up and it feels absolutely amazing outside. It's still not hot but it is way better than 30 degrees.

I have noticed some new followers and I am excited that you have found my blog! Sorry for the absence but I will be brainstorming posts tonight and I hope you will enjoy them!

Spring Break is right around the corner and in just twelve days B and I will be going to Tortola in the British Virgin Islands with his parents for a week-long vacation! I am SO excited that I may already have my bag packed.. just kidding, but not really!

Break

First off, I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's day! I apologize for not posting on here in a few days. Lately I've been really busy and I've kind of forgotten that I had a blog and I have kind of been lacking inspiration and motivation to post anything. So I think I am going to take a temporary break from blogging, just until I find my inspiration again. I have been reading everyone else's blogs and will continue to do so because I love all of them! I love watches. I think they are a great statement piece and the bigger the watch the better. Sometimes I steal/borrow my boyfriend's watches and wear them. Four Years

Today is mine and B's four year anniversary. We met January 15, 2007 when some friends and I went to Wilmington to shop for a day. One of my very good high school friends is from Wilmington and was dating B's brother T at the time and introduced us that day. Ever since then we've been together and "officially" started dating February 1, 2007. In some ways it's hard to believe that we have made it this long and survived college and all of the ups and downs. But in other ways, I couldn't imagine things being any other way.
